How Bespoke Jewellery Is Made
From first conversation to final inspection — the eight stages behind a made-to-order piece.
Design before metal
A bespoke commission begins with a conversation and reference images. From there we prepare CAD renders so you can see proportion, stone placement and finger or wrist fit before anything is cast.
Stones, then casting, then setting
Diamonds are sourced and presented with their certificates for approval. Only once you approve both the design and the stones does the piece go to casting.
Setting is done by hand under magnification, followed by staged polishing and a final inspection against the approved specification.
Timeframes
Most commissions run four to eight weeks depending on complexity and stone sourcing. We confirm a timeframe in writing before production begins.
